Since the edition was prepared facsimile Since the theft of the Codex Calixtinus in 1993, many copies of this edition have been sold. Many publishers have expressed interest in the last remaining copies of the print run; even Moleiro Ediciones, with the rise in news of the theft, considered acquiring the remaining copies on the market. Eikon Editores also acquired copies years ago for sale to clients in Germany. But to this day, only in www.codexcalixtinusfacsimil.com We have books.

Our aim is to bring facsimiles out of elite circles, making this wonderful world of reproducing codices and manuscripts accessible at affordable prices to those who love books and the graphic arts in their purest form. This doesn't mean we undervalue the magnificent facsimiles being produced today, but which are unfortunately prohibitively expensive for most enthusiasts and collectors.

We could choose to forgo selling copies individually, like a craftsman, and instead sell them in bulk, but we don't want to miss out on enjoying the thank-you letters and each of the stories surrounding the acquisition of each copy of the facsimile. Codex Calixtinus.

Like those friends who pooled their savings to give it to their best friend as a wedding present. Or that other friend who had been trying to acquire a copy for years and, finding no distributor, couldn't locate the book until he found us. They aren't researchers or collectors or wealthy, but they enjoy the wonderful experience of touching, reading, and contemplating an authentic facsimile of the Codex.
