This week, a very extensive report, a book that perfectly details the discovery of the Codex Calixtinus and the first studies carried out on its musical pieces, has been circulating online. The report is very detailed and sometimes complex for laypeople, but it is well worth reading to get an idea of what the discovery of this marvelous work meant for the history of music. Professor José López-Calo is the author of this work; here is more information about him: http://www.lavozdegalicia.es/galicia/2008/07/25/0003_7011111.htm
